Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the association's membership structure so that you choose the correct member type below. Note: Only hospital employees qualify for Primary or Additional Active Member. Please read the category descriptions carefully before selecting your member type.

Primary Active Membership is available to healthcare facilities professionals who have responsibility for operations including plant engineering, design/construction, safety, security, clinical engineering, biomedical technicians, telecommunications and other services related to healthcare facilities management.  The individual associated with this membership record will be the voting representative on behalf of the organization.  Dues in the amount of $100 are assessed to the organization each year on January 1.  If you are from a VA/DOD facility, dues in the amount of $50 will be assessed to the organization each year on January 1.  Additional Active Members from the SAME facility may register for a discounted rate of $50 per person whose organization maintains a Primary Active Membership in TAHFM. 

 Primary Associate Membership is available to manufacturers, distributors, vendors, contractors, planners, consultants, architects, interior designers, consulting engineers, loss prevention consultants, federal, state and local inspectors and others interested in the health care facilities management arena.  The individual associated with this membership record will be primary representative who will receive correspondence and announcements from the association. Dues in the amount of $200 are assessed to the organization each year on January 1.  Primary Associate membership entitles you to a cross reference of your product description for as long as you maintain your membership.  Primary Associate Members may register two Additional Associate Members from the same organization at no additional charge.

Student Membership Non-Voting is available to full-time college students taking course work related to any of the disciplines addressed by the association.  Dues in the amount of $25 are assessed to the student each year on January 1.

Primary Active Member
    

Available to individuals who are actively employed professionals in healthcare related facilities and who have responsibility for health care facility operations including plant engineering, design/construction, safety, security, clinical engineering, biomedical technicians, telecommunications and other services related to healthcare facilities management and will serve as the voting representative for your organization. This member type is also avaliable to VA/DOD facility employees at a discounted rate of $50.00 per year.  Primary Active Members may register Additional Active Members from the same facility for a discounted rate of $50 per person.

Additional Active Member ($50/year)
    

Primary Active members may register additional individuals from the SAME facility for a discounted rate of $50 per person.  Select the Additional Active membership type to join TAHFM under an established Primary Active Membership for your facility.  

You will need to select your facility name from the drop down box provided on the registration form.  If you can not locate your facility name, you will need to verify that your facility is an active member of TAHFM by emailing sdouglas@tahfm.org or calling 512-220-4291.

 

Primary Associate Member ($200/year)
    

Associate Membership is available to manufacturers, distributors, vendors, contractors, planners, consultants, architects, interior designers, consulting engineers, loss prevention consultants, federal, state and local inspectors and others interested in the health care facilities management arena.  Associate members shall be non-voting and cannot hold office in the association. Associate membership entitles you to a cross reference of your product description for as long as you maintain your membership. 

Each Associate Member must designate an individual to serve as the organization's primary representative to whom all official association correspondence is distributed. Other individuals within the organization may participate as Additioanl Associate Members by selecting the Additional Associate Member type.  If you are NOT your organization's primary representative, please select the Additional Associate Member type below. 

Additional Associate Member ($0/year)
    

Available to manufacturers, distributors, vendors, contractors, planners, consultants, architects, interior designers, consulting engineers, loss prevention consultants, federal, state and local inspectors and others interested in the health care facilities management arena whose orgianization already has established a Primary Associate Membership.  Associate members shall be non-voting and cannot hold office in the association. Associate membership entitles you to a cross reference of your product description for as long as you maintain your membership.

You will need to select your organization's name from the drop down box provided on the registration form.  If you can not locate your organization's name, you will need to verify that your organization has an associate membership with TAHFM by emailing sdouglas@tahfm.org or calling 512-220-4291.

Student Member ($25/year)
    

Available to full-time college students taking course work related to any of the disciplines addressed by the association.  Student members may not vote or hold office.
