Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the association's membership structure so that you choose the correct member type below. Note: Only hospital employees qualify for Primary or Additional Active Member. Please read the category descriptions carefully before selecting your member type.
Primary Active Membership is available to healthcare facilities professionals who have responsibility for operations including plant engineering, design/construction, safety, security, clinical engineering, biomedical technicians, telecommunications and other services related to healthcare facilities management. The individual associated with this membership record will be the voting representative on behalf of the organization. Dues in the amount of $100 are assessed to the organization each year on January 1. If you are from a VA/DOD facility, dues in the amount of $50 will be assessed to the organization each year on January 1. Additional Active Members from the SAME facility may register for a discounted rate of $50 per person whose organization maintains a Primary Active Membership in TAHFM.
Primary Associate Membership is available to manufacturers, distributors, vendors, contractors, planners, consultants, architects, interior designers, consulting engineers, loss prevention consultants, federal, state and local inspectors and others interested in the health care facilities management arena. The individual associated with this membership record will be primary representative who will receive correspondence and announcements from the association. Dues in the amount of $200 are assessed to the organization each year on January 1. Primary Associate membership entitles you to a cross reference of your product description for as long as you maintain your membership. Primary Associate Members may register two Additional Associate Members from the same organization at no additional charge.
Student Membership Non-Voting is available to full-time college students taking course work related to any of the disciplines addressed by the association. Dues in the amount of $25 are assessed to the student each year on January 1.
